Granby Booster Club

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Granby Booster Club is a non-profit fundraising group of parents committed to helping financially support the programs at Granby High School for the benefit of all students.

The Booster Club is dedicated to establishing open communication and a good working relationship with the representatives of Granby High School in order to provide the students with rewards and opportunities above and beyond the existing school budget while striving towards offering their services equally to all students

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday September, Wednesday 16th in
Room 100 at 6:30.
Otherwise meetings are held on
3rd Tuesday of each month
(unless otherwise posted)

Membership is open to all parents/guardians
of all middle and high school students

Welcome back to returning members Roxy Baker,
Greg and Sherry Hurley, Barbara McNerney and
Karen Light. This is going to be a FANTASTIC year!

In order to raise funds the Granby Booster Club has three main fundraisers; Bottles and Cans, Concessions, and Wreath Sale. All monies raised at these fundraisers makes it possible for us to support events such as: sport banquets for middle school and high school teams, Honor Roll recognition events, hope club, senior refreshments at senior awards presentation, Booster Club Monetary award to graduates of booster club parents, partial purchasing of the championship jackets and banners for the teams, construction of the trophy cases in the high school, and the purchasing of the bleachers behind the high school. We have also been able to help with donations to the Granby Arts Project, busses for club events, basket ball score board, and yearbook add to name a few. We have also helped build, as well as fund, the outdoor concession stand behind the Granby High School.

BOTTLES AND CANS
Please continue to drop off all your returnable bottles and cans at the Granby Dump in the dumpster marked for the Booster Club. We are looking for more volunteers to add to our existing bottles and cans team. We have also added group sort days. Anyone interested please contact Karen Light at 467-3978 email Klight57@yahoo.com

WREATH SALE
