"The Boys Cross Country Team's season was a fantastic one, filled with maverick-y things and a strong will to succeed. And together, we did. Each meet, these mavericks ran strong, and crossed the finish line ready to gorge themselves on chocolate chip cookies (Hey, whatever works!). I hope that you remember those cookies in the future and recognize what they symbolize: The sweet flavor of success.

I hope each one of you continues to run and carry on the maverick legacy. Also, I hope you all continue to thrive in all aspects of your life. Thank you for an extraordinary season and as a final word of advice, Maverick. Nuff said."
