Calendar and Cancellations

When the Granby Public School District cancels because of inclement weather, the Granby Preschool will be closed. If the Granby Public School District opens late due to inclement weather, the morning preschool WILL BE canceled.  This information can be obtained by going to the main page of the Granby Public Schools website, listening to the radio or watching Channel 22 or 40 news. It is the parent's responsibility to listen for cancellations. 

The preschool follows the Granby Public School calendar with the following exceptions:

  • The preschools will start on the Monday after Labor Day.

  • The preschool does not make-up snow days at the end of the school year.

  • The preschool does not close for 1/2 days in December and March for parent/teacher conferences.  We will do conferences in January during times when the preschool is not in session. (e.g. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons)   Specific dates will be determined.
