TUTORING: GJSHS will be offering tutoring two days a week beginning Monday, September 23rd. Tutoring will be available to all GJSHS students and transporation will be provided. Tutoring will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:15 – 3:15 p.m. in toom 107.
SCHOOL COUNCIL will hold its first meeting of the 19-20 school year in the Media Center on Thursday, September 26th at 3 p.m. Students, teachers and parents interested in attending please contact Mr. Sullivan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL will meet next Friday during F Block in room 225. New members welcome.
SATURDAY TUTORING: Next Saturday, September 28th, will be our first Saturday Tutoring session from 9 – 11 am. If you are interested, please sign up in the Main Office. Transporation will not be provided for Saturday Tutoring.
SENIORS, colleges are beginning to visit. Check the schedule outside of Guidance and see Mrs. Tease to sign up.
Cap & Gown fittings will take place on Thursday, October 17th from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. Students who leave for Work Based Learning should have their fittings closer to 10:45 a.m.. All other students will be fitted during their assigned lunch time. If you will not be here, please see Mrs. Lacoste in the Main Office.
Senior Yearbook photos are due no later than October 31st. Please upload photos to Jostens-senior portrait or turn them in to Ms. Beth in room 203.
SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE DAY will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd.
PARKING: Students must register / submit payment online for parking thru Family ID and then obtain parking permit from Main Office PRIOR to parking on campus. The link for Family ID will be found thru the Granby Jr Sr High home page, under the tab "For Students" select "Parking Permit Application" in the dropdown box. Vehicles without a paid parking permit may be towed and parking privileges revoked. .
LOCKERS: Students are responsible for keeping their lockers locked at all times with a school issued combination lock. If you need a lock, you may purchase one at the Main Office for $5 before or after school, during breaks, or lunch. The School is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
LOST AND FOUND is located on the Stage area of the Cafeteria. Unclaimed items will be donated to a charitable cause at the end of each month and during the December, February and April school vacations.
