CLASS OF 2021 RED SOX FUNDRAISER: Support the Class of 2021 and buy your Red Sox raffle ticket today. Cost is $10. Winner will be drawn on May 18th.
SPORTS: Just a reminder student athletes, you must pick up your grade sheets ASAP and return every Friday to your coaches.
PIONEER VALLEY DRIVING SCHOOL will be offering Driver’s Ed classes during April vacation April 17th thru April 20th, from 9 to 4pm, and April 23rd thru 25th from 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm. Parents’ Night will be April 17th from 6 – 8pm. There will be one more session offered in June, once school has ended for the year, dates to follow. Please see Mrs. Lacoste for more info or you may contact Pioneer Valley Driving School directly at 413-253-7432. There is still space available. PLEASE NOTE THAT APRIL 17th STUDENT CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT WEST STREET SCHOOL LIBRARY.
YOUTH JOB FAIR: Attention students 16 years and older: There is a Youth Job Fair on Tuesday, April 17th from 1-3 pm at the Holyoke City Hall. If you are looking for a job this summer, this would be a great event to attend. More information is available on a flyer outside of the Student Support Suite.
GRANBY’S 250th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Parade Committee is looking for 30 volunteers to help with this year’s parade, which is June 10th. Please sign-up on the clipboard in the Main Office or see Mrs. Jordan with any questions.
TUTORING: Students who would like to stay after on Wednesday for tutoring with NHS tutors, you MUST sign up each week BEFORE LUNCH on Wednesdays OUTSIDE of Mrs. Swistak’s, room 202.
BIG Y EDUCATION EXPRESS has brought back this program which benefits local schools such as GJSHS. Please go to www.bigy.com/rs/educationexpress and select Granby Jr Sr High School, once you have logged in to and/or created an account. Hurry, this program ends April 25th for the current school year!
DISMISSAL NOTES/ BUS NOTES: Just a reminder that all dismissal notes and bus notes must be turned in to the Main Office first thing each morning.
STUDENT PARKING: Students must complete a parking application BEFORE parking on campus. Vehicles without a parking permit are subject to towing.
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION can be placed into the bin labeled for this purpose in the Main Office.
LOST AND FOUND items are located in a barrel on the stage. Loose items in the locker room will be considered lost and found as well. Any item unclaimed will be donated to a charitable cause during April vacation.
