I am happy to have joined Granby Junior Senior High in 2019. Before coming to our school, I taught a variety of subjects and served as a school librarian. I was a teacher in an American International School in Venezuela, South America for 10 years, and served as a school librarian, history and Spanish teacher in a grade 6-12 school in Hartford, CT for another 10 years. I love working with students and creating opportunities for them to learn in and outside of the classroom. I enjoy travel, especially in Latin America, but also, I want to get to know more of our beautiful nation--I just visited Seattle! I am passionate about reading. I always have two or three books that I am working on. I love realistic and historical fiction. If I am not working, traveling or reading, you might find me, hiking local trails, dancing Salsa or with my women’s golf team.

I love our cozy library in Granby. That is where you will find me each day--teaching, building our collection of resources, and looking for creative ways to use our space.
