The Granby Public Schools, in collaboration with the Granby Police Department, is offering an Emergency Operations presentation for parents, families, and the community on January 25, 2023, in the East Meadow Cafeteria from 6:00 PM- 7:00 PM. This presentation will focus on our Emergency Operations Plan, and specifically our implementation of A.L.I.C.E., a federally endorsed protocol. This is an opportunity to learn and ask questions about what we are doing in the Granby Public School to ensure the safety of students and staff. The weather date will be January 26, 2023.

The School Ambassador Program is part of the Bay State Games mission to promote one of Massachusetts largest amateur multi-sport events to high school students across the state. Each year almost 6,000 athletes participate in the Bay State Summer Games and represent all ages and athletic abilities. 2023 will mark the 41st year of the Bay State Summer Games, a staple in the Massachusetts athletic community. The School Ambassador Program aims to help students gain volunteer experience working in Sport Management and Marketing, while fulfilling volunteer requirements for school, classes, teams, and projects. Nick, along with other students in schools across the state, will be responsible for promoting the Bay State Games within our school and community.

August 28, 2022 Dear Granby Junior Senior High School Families, I love this time of year! The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and our students are well rested and ready to transition back to a new year of learning. Our students will return to school for the 2022-2023 school year on August 29, 2022. The school day will begin promptly at 7:30 am and conclude at 1:58 pm. We cannot stress how important it is for our students to arrive in a timely manner. As students arrive on day one, we ask that all junior high students report directly to the cafeteria and for students in grades 9-12 to report to the gymnasium to pick up their schedules and then proceed to their A block. Similar to last year, GJSHS will run a 7-block schedule beginning with A block and concluding with G block. All students 7-12 will follow the same bell schedule. We will continue with a scheduled morning break at no cost. Students in grades 7-9 will take first break and students in grades 10-12 will take second break. All meals (snack/lunch) will be provided at no cost to our students. We will continue to offer outdoor seating as weather permits. Students in grades 7-12 can access their schedules in their Plus Portal account. Students should contact their guidance counselor by email if they have any questions or concerns regarding their schedule. The Ram Report will remain our primary hub for information. You can expect the Ram Report to be sent via email between Friday and Saturday. Please do not unsubscribe from Blackboard connect.
